"I thought about what I value, and immediately thought about what fills my cup: beauty. The feeling of prioritizing a beauty routine to be more confident in myself and my abilities was part of my daily life. I knew I had the power to begin an initiative to bring this same exact feeling to women in need."

August 2023
Give n’ Glow’s first pop-up shop experience at Wrentham Food Pantry with just 56 beauty products.
November 2023
Give n’ Glow achieves 501(c)3 status.
January 2024
Give n’ Glow sources first major beauty brand donor: First Aid Beauty, headquartered in Newton, MA, with a donation of 200 Face Cleansers.
April 2024
Give n’ Glow begins partnering with influencers, like Melodie Perez, for large donations of unused PR products. Give n’ Glow continues to source brand donors, including 9,000 SkinFix skincare samples.
May 2024
Give n’ Glow celebrates Mother’s Day with makeovers and donation drop-offs at five different nonprofits in the Boston area: Women’s Lunch Place, First Church Cambridge, Somerville Homeless Coalition, St. Mary’s Center, and On the Rise.

To celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, Give n’ Glow partners with Boston Consulting Group to host an in-office beauty product collection drive.​
June 2024
Project 351 names Give n’ Glow as the Unity Project to engage Project 351 leadership and Alumni in collecting over 200 brand new, full-size items to be distributed to nonprofits serving women in need.
July 2024
Give n’ Glow partners with DEWMTY, a sustainable skincare brand, to place over 30 donation collection bins in partner retail store locations across the country.
August 2024
Give n’ Glow secures first major source of funding from Wrentham Cooperative Bank, pledging $2,500 to Give n’ Glow’s operations to continue scaling our growth to serve women in need.
Give n’ Glow partners with National Women’s Shelter Network for the largest country-wide donation distribution to 10 nonprofit partners with 2,193 beauty products since Give n’ Glow’s founding.
October 2024
Give n’ Glow partners with Northeastern University to pack 500 beauty kits with beauty products sourced from six beauty brands. Give n’ Glow partnered with five nonprofits to distribute 100 kits each to serve women in need in communities in Iowa, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusettts. Global Service Week is a widespread celebration of service and engagement in communities where Northeastern’s campuses reside.
November 2024
Kendra Scott hosts Give n’ Glow in their Soho location in New York City for a Give Back event, inviting influencers, supporters and donors to buy holiday jewelry, learn about our mission and donate beauty products. Give n’ Glow received 408 pounds of donations and just below $500 from this initiative.
December 2024
Give n’ Glow shares the success of our first fiscal year in operation through the 2024 Impact Report, noting 15,645 products donated, 2,683 women impacted. This would not have been possible through the support from our 46 nonprofit partners, 23 beauty brands and 18 business supporters.
January 2025
Give n’ Glow launches the Tour of Giving in partnership with Thrive Causemetics. The Tour of Giving began during Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend, packing 1,000 care packages featuring Thrive Causemetics, Saie Beauty and Shielded Beauty products to be given out to 10 Boston nonprofit partners in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
March 2025
Samantha Asprelli was featured in CNN’s 5 Good Thing’s Podcast, speaking about Give n’ Glow, the founding story, and plans ahead.
April 2025
In partnership with Glowbar and Girlfriends Boston, Give n’ Glow hosts a care packing event to bring 1,000 beauty kits to women in need in time for Mother’s Day. Hosted at Upstairs at Bow Market, this event brought together women to bond under the mission of giving back with beauty and learn the impact their volunteering has on women in Boston.
