A message from our founder
Samantha Asprelli
Sometimes, it just takes one small moment.
A simple gesture, an unexpected kindness, something that makes someone feel seen.
I became obsessed with the idea of lollipop moments. Sweet, simple acts of kindness and joy that create a ripple effect of change. Just like giving someone a lollipop, it doesn’t take much.
I’ve been volunteering, leading, and serving my community in various ways around the Boston area for over eight years. I’ve found that the power in giving often comes from those lollipop moments. Running clothing and food drives, uniting others under a shared mission of giving back, these moments created real impact for people in need. A selfless, simple act of generosity could shift someone’s day, maybe even their life, in ways I might never see or fully understand. Maybe I’ll never even meet them.
Through all this work, I started noticing something missing. We were meeting basic needs, but not addressing confidence, dignity, or self-worth, especially in moments when those feelings matter most. I know how I feel when I have makeup on, when I’m wearing my favorite piece of jewelry, when my nails are done. I feel more confident, more capable in what I do, and more determined to show up as my best self.
Those are the feelings Give n’ Glow exists to create. We bring lollipop moments through beauty, whether that’s a lipstick, mascara, or a care package of essentials meant to uplift and empower.
We don’t just impact women in the moment we give the products. The repeated use of them keeps igniting that same spark, happiness, strength, and the transformative power of feeling beautiful.
We’re not here to change lives. We’re here to be the uplifting moment in the face of hardship. In times of struggle, uncertainty, or poverty.
Give n’ Glow complements the essential services of food, clothing and housing, with something just as important, a reminder of hope, confidence, and self-love.
